T.R. Benning III, CPC President
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, November 1954. Attended public school in the City of Atlanta, Sarah R. Smith Grammar School and graduated W.F. Dykes High School in 1972.
Attended Auburn University from 1972 to 1976 and was awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science in Building Construction in 1976. He received the President's Award, School of Architecture & Fine Arts.
From 1968 to 1975, Mr. Benning worked during summers as laborer, carpenter, layout man, and job clerk on construction jobs of various types in a number of locations.
From 1976 to present, employed by Benning Construction Company, General Contractors, Atlanta, Georgia, in various capacities. He started as a quantity surveyor and progressed through estimating, superintendent/project manager, and executive officer. Mr.Benning is currently President of Benning Construction Company.
